Anybody want to see an advance screening of Serenity, in Portland? I think it would be pretty neat, and they haven't started selling tickets for the Portland show, I'm told, so we'd actually have a chance to plan ahead a bit! :) Yeah, it's sold out. Somebody lied, y'all! :p

I'm trying to work from home right now, cos the whole pinkeye thing is still afoot, and lord knows I don't need to pass *that* around the office. I still can't see very well, so I'm getting a headache from staring at the monitor and/or trying to keep my right eye open wide enough to see out of it. (I basically have to pull my eyebrow upwards and sit around looking eternally quizzical in order to see out of the right eye, due to the swelling. :p) But I'm good for a little while, at least, and I have the server running locally and all that stupf.

The eye *is* getting better, thanks to the funky eyedrops. It's not quite so sticky-feeling, and the swelling is going down, albeit rather slowly.

Anyway, I am going to go rest my eyes for a bit, and then do more workstuff.

So not fair!!!! That's the week AFTER we move! and the closest screening in Georgia is in Atlanta and that's almost 2 hours away!! *cries* I wanna see Serenity!!!!

d00d! They're doing another one!

I tried to get tickets to see Serenity last thursday, but the damn link didn't work. I was hoping that since they sold out so fast they'd do another one, but I didn't think it would be this soon! It's still only about 90% done. But I'm going to be reloading religiously trying to get tickets to this show. Especially since it comes out after I leave for Japan and god knows when I'd actually be able to see the official release!

Carrie went to the Seattle show and said that it totally rocked, she got me a keychain =D

Oh, and it is... Why did you get my hopes up again over a week after I first learned it was sold out (which was the day after it was announced)? I shall smite you now!

Heh, yeah, they got *my* hopes up, too--some liar-face said they had called the theater and they weren't actually selling tickets yet. But, when I came back from my nap an hour or so after posting that, Sold Out. Siiiigh. :p

BTW, are you going to put your movie online or anything in the future?? I knew I'd be stuck at work during the open gallery hours last week, so I wanted to come see it at the opening, but then I came down with that fever and couldn't. (I missed craftyran's BFA opening yesterday, too, thanks to this stupid pinkeye thing... rrrggh!)
