batskeetsSo, I neglected to blab about this previously, but: The Mirror Universe episode of Enterprise? SO FUN.
The First Contact opener totally cracked me up. And they Evil-ed up the credits and everything! I want that theme song for the rest of the series, y'all; the current theme song is barfy.
The acting was about the same as usual from some of the cast (why is Scott Bakula so weirdly rigid in this role? He's usually better than this :p), but you could tell that everybody was having a good time with it, at least. There was also some good attention to detail, so even the crazed TOS encyclopedia nerds have something to feel some glee about. The only thing missing was the evil Mirror Universe goatee! They did have a scarred Cmdr. Tucker, though, so we're halfway there.
Really, I just enjoy the whole thing of alternate timelines and mirror universes and such. I'm jazzed for Part 2 later this week, but they'd better give me an Evil Goatee in this one!
Oh, and I have to share this quote from a forum thread, where they were speculating what other races are like in the mirror universe, because it amuses me:
"And a Mirror Universe Borg, they would go around the universe collecting and dispersing advice on living harmoniously with nature, spouting Assistance is Docile."
LMAO! For some reason, I would get the biggest kick out of seeing tree-hugging, friend-helping, hippie-lovefest-type Borg. ::rotfl::
Anyway, stuff's going along, not much to report. Tomorrow's my birthdaaaaaaay, and I still don't know if I'm doing anything, murhurhurhur! SO OLD!
