"I get the top bunk!"
Apr. 13th, 2005 03:47 pmI am sooooo hungry today. I'm sure it is because I've arrived at work somewhere between 8am and 8:30 over the past couple of days, and I've been getting only the barest minimum of sleep. I *try* to go to bed earlier, I do! But, there is just too much crap to deal with before I can sleep. I think I'm going to bust out of here relatively soon, if the files I need don't get fixed.
I want a nap. Stop stealing my sleep time, people!
This review of the Hitchhiker's Guide movie makes me sad. It doesn't shock me, but saddening? Yes. I'm still going to watch it, though, because I am silly and naive.
And now, we babble about TV, because I'm too sleepy for anything else:
Veronica Mars literally made me cover my mouth and squee during last night's episode! I'm not a Logan/Veronica 'shipper like some, and this might even just be the shock talking because I haven't read the spoilers for this show and thusly I was completely blindsided, but: HOLY CRAP, that was hot. I don't know what kind of special acting talent classes/pills/whatever those kids are taking, but they *nailed* that scene. Also, "Dream on, Jump Street"? Hee!
Anyway, I'm glad VM is actually good and is also being renewed for another season, esp. since Alias isn't doing it for me so much, this season. I keep watching the latter show because I remember how engaging it was back in the first two seasons, and I kind of wonder what kind of mischief Jack and Sloane are currently collaborating on, because they are both so damned wily. Well, and also because I like to stare at Vartan. ;p But, generally, I'm not feeling quite so interested in the story. The recent ep that involved Marshall being thrust into the field to rescue Sydney is the only one that really sticks out as being very good, right now, because Marshall was able to do more than just providing the dorky comic relief.
As a random aside, remember when you were in high school and had the occasional dirty thought about actors playing high-schoolers, and you were inevitably crushed to find out that said actors were actually pushing 30 and therefore much too old for you? Sign #361 that you are getting on in years: when the preceding sentence is no longer true. :p
I CRAVE CHEESE.
And, I'm off.
