Mar. 3rd, 2005 05:59 pmApologies if you've seen this before, but: A Parent's Primer to Computer Slang. It's pretty funny.
Speaking of which, I heard from
mrwiz today, for the first time in forever. (he sent me the link) I've been crazy-busy, he's been in Afghanistan, life gets in the way. ;p Sounds like everything's doing well, though.
Tea fetish of the moment: Strawberry Pepper. Sweet, yet spicy! I have chosen my poison, and it is black tea.
I am definitely cutting off my hair again, and soon. And by "soon" I mean, oh, next weekish. This will be done much to my mother's chagrin, I'm sure. But eh, she only has to see it a few times a year, whereas I have to deal with it every effing *day*. I think that lopping off some of the many-times-dyed hair and starting over fresh will do me good.
Cool mauve-y pink streaks are still in the works, though. They'll be in extension form, though, so I won't be frying my real hair with color treatment again for quite a while. Extensions = BEST EVER.
I think that every muscle in my body hurts right now, agh. Wailing on my upper body in the weight room, plus copious amounts of frog jumps and lunges, plus attempting to learn a new changquan set in four weeks will kind of do that. Is this what self-improvement feels like? Because, damn. And ouch.
My new gyno is awfully perky and upbeat in the morning. Almost too much so, to the point of being rather intimidating. Granted, my perception might be skewed because I'm a grumpy beast in the morning, but it bears mentioning. At any rate, if she can fix my cramps, then I will happily forgive it.
It has been suggested to me that I cruise by Portland sometime this month. So yeah, what are all you Portlandians doing in the coming weeks? I have no idea when I'd go up there, exactly, but it's a thought.
It was really beautiful outside today. I got to put on my snazzy new Foster Grants and everything. I think I want my regular glasses frames to look more like my new sunglasses.
And, I'm spent. ::poof::

Date: 2005-03-03 09:29 pm (UTC)Where do you get your extensions done at? And is it spendy? I, too, am really not nice to my hair, so that sounds like a really good idea!

Date: 2005-03-03 10:10 pm (UTC)I kind of want to get one of these kits (http://drlocks.net/cart/product_info.php/cPath/45/products_id/78) sometime, because it looks super-convenient, and probably looks better than my current DIY braiding method. :)
