I must pause the hacking up of my internal organs for a moment, and raspily squeak out a cheer:

Hell. Freakin'. YES. Wil Wheaton on CSI! And not even that craptastic spinoff with Caruso, but the real one! (well, presumably) Two great tastes that go great together! I cannot express my joy. If he and Eric Szmanda are on screen together, MY TELEVISION WILL MELT, PEOPLE.

Yes, apparently, my television is as nerdy as I am. The TiVo must be training it well. ;p

In all seriousness, though, I love it when actors I like get onto TV shows I enjoy, or are cast in movies that I'm excited about. It's like Christmas!... mostly because I'm demented and sad and I watch too much television, but it's generally good news for everyone involved. I tend to expect more from a production when it casts one of my favorite actors, because, you know, I actually have standards. In other words, I don't tend to become fixated on a notable person just because he has a cute ass. Not that it doesn't *help*, on occasion, but, well, you know.

Speaking of television, there are finally going to be some new episodes for me to enjoy this week. Of course, with my newfound WoW addiction, balancing the two could be something of a challenge--it's hard enough to fit in an hour of TV after wushu practice, already. Lord, give me strength. ::rotfl::

Anyway, stuff's normal here at the job, so I guess I didn't miss much. I've had the office to myself for most of the morning, which is kind of cool--this is probably one of the few times when quiet does me some good. I just hope I don't look as pasty, sallow, and utterly bedraggled as I think I do, because I'm thinking I look pretty damned bedraggled.

I think this post is starting to deteriorate, so on a final note, [livejournal.com profile] dellswor and [livejournal.com profile] aleisha are probably in the process of winging their way towards fun and profit back East. We got to have one last big dinner together last night, though, including an appearance by The Man, The Myth, The Legend: Tom! It was a nice, fun parting note. Still, moving from one coast to the other is a pretty big change, so keep them in your thoughts, if you know them. And wave to any planes that fly overhead today! :)

Brain hurts, so back to work, I guess.

I bought an extremely long cable so that I could play WoW while watching TV.

It's a sickness.

(p.s., OMG Wil Wheaton on CSI. That rules. :D)

LMAO! I'm this close to hooking up my 13-inch TV in the office for that same purpose! There'd still be no TiVo, though, so the plan is slightly flawed.

Oh my god, I hope TiVo doesn't self-destruct from sheer hot nerdiness.
