blah blah blah
Feb. 5th, 2005 11:20 amWell, it would seem that I am trapped in my house on a Saturday, because I don't have the car! Well, unless I want to take the bus or something, but A) it's cold, and B) I don't like walking anywhere. It seems so slow and inefficient when going over longer distances.
James is at work today, AGAIN, of all things. -_- What a weekend, indeed.
I'm a bit behind the times on this one, but: I was catching up with the TiVo list last night, and I was surprised to see Anderson Cooper chatting with Jon Stewart! Apparently, he was on The Daily Show for an interview, and it was an amusing one, at that. The only two guys I get my news from, together at last! :D
In other news, I officially hate my new parking spot with the fire of a thousand suns. I think I have the single worst space in the entire lot--it's a compact car-sized space in the very northwest corner of the lot, right next to a building with this cheapo textured wall surfacing. If I pull straight backwards out of the parking spot as far as I can without hitting the car in the row behind me, I *barely* have enough room to turn the car right and exit the lot, and that's only if I do the "pull forward/right, pull backward/left" routine at least 3 times.
I think I'm going to see if I can get a new parking space on Monday, because the textured wall of that building would do a number on my finish if I were to miscalculate any distance while backing up. Grrrr.
Yesterday, I stupidly forgot my sack lunch in the refrigerator, so I wound up having some delicious White Pad Thai, instead. SO TASTY. I seem to get a ridiculous amount of pleasure out of eating something I like that tastes good. I don't think I will ever understand the kind of people who don't like to eat.
My knees are feeling better, so far--they don't feel so wobbly and achy when I'm just walking or sitting around. Yay!
Anyway, I've got things to do (what few of them I can do at home, anyway), so I'm off.
