batskeetsI got horrible sleep last night--I had a bunch of creepy, weird dreams that caused me to wake up feeling startled. It was very horror movie-esque, which is strange, because I haven't watched or read anything resembling a horror story, as of late.
The one dream that I can remember involved a vampire who must have somehow broken into my house (which was actually not my house, but hey, dreamland, whatever), because he came out of the coat closet in a very creepy sort of way. He was definitely out to kill me, but he must have been a slow vampire, because I managed to throw a few good punches to his jaw and wrestle him to the ground.
Unfortunately, staking him wasn't enough, because he was apparently one of those Palladium-type vampires I hate so much. So, this dream required me to sit atop this vampire's chest while I SAWED OFF HIS HEAD. x_x And to make things weirder, as I was sawing off his head, there was no blood--he just gradually turned into some bizarre blue rubber dummy. Cree. Pee.
So, yeah, maybe *this* is why I don't remember my dreams more often. Because they make ABSOLUTELY NO SENSE. -_-

BTW, I read the "worst GM ever" story and was thoroughly amused.. although apparently this isn't the only guy who has a breast size table to roll on for character generation, and unlike the GM described in a letter printed in a really old issue of Dragon, this guy seems to realize that only girls have them...
(Actually, I suspect this guy realizes that with the kind of focused awareness that would cause you to lose Sanity points on the order of "you go out for Chinese and only realize Great Cthulhu is on your plate after you've already eaten half of him" if you were to spontaneously gain the ability to read his mind, but whatever.)
My "worst GM ever" story is much less horrifying. :/
