batskeetsJesus, I need new glasses. My eyes have been hurting me every day at work. It always starts to hurt by Hour 6, without fail. WTF? :p
I got my really clever teapot today, and lordy, it is every bit as clever as the website promised! I brewed a cup of Yunnan Jig with it earlier, and it was *excellent*. I now hold the world of loose tea brewing in the palm of my hand! Hopefully, the sampler set that came with it will keep me in yummy tea goodness for the next couple of weeks. It takes a surprisingly small amount of tea to make a single cup.
So, my desk was moved for yet another time, and I must say that so far, I like my new spot. I have an actual wall behind me, instead of a too-short cube wall, so I now need to consider what kind of wall hangings I want to have around me. Oh, and now the sunlight is my friend, instead of a hinderance to my productivity with its Monitor Glare of Death. And I'm sitting near the same bunch of folks that I've grown accustomed to, so that's groovy, too.
After yesterday's Day Of Vegging (+ Laundry), I AM ALMOST DONE WITH FFX. Seriously! The "almost" part is rather frustrating, though. I'm on the second-to-last boss, I believe, and he's a pain in the butt. I hate petrification rays with the fire of a thousand suns. I need to remember to equip Stone Ward items before I try again. Rrrgh. I probably won't get a chance to play again until at least next weekend, so that's also a bit irritating. I want to play FFX-2, already!
Wushu tonight will be hard, because I'm pretty drained. It's my last chance to practice my jump inside fall for the next few practices, though, because I'm sure as hell not trying to land that jump on hard wood flooring. :p Would the landing hurt less if I weighed less? Yeah, probably, but them's the breaks.
