Blaaahhhh.
Dec. 14th, 2004 12:40 pmI went to sleep at 9:30pm last night. 9:30. That is insanity, compared to my usual habits. Work is still busy. Gaaahhhh.
Anyway, next in the interview queue...
junsiew!
1. Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
Jesus, I don't know. This question is tougher to answer now that I'm actually living an adult-ish life. ;p
Anyway, my guess is: I'll have had at least one kid by then, I figure. Probably married and living in a house, if luck goes my way. Probably working a more managerial sort of position, but still getting my daily dose of creative work. Will hopefully have cruised by a single-digit dress size at least one more time before gleefully indulging in plump motherhood. :) Hopefully winning some wushu medals, if my old bones will still allow it. (hey, 30-something is getting up there, even for a semi-serious athlete) Will have hopefully left the North American continent at least once.
It's hard to predict, really. The world is full of possibilities, and people's goals do grow and change.
2. What would your dream job be?
I'm actually pretty fond of the job I have now... wouldn't mind if I got paid a bit more, but eh, what can you do. I'm fresh out of college, and the big money comes with more time and experience.
Currently, I totally covet a position in the graphics department at The Daily Show. Some of the graphics captions make me laugh more than the actual show segments do. And really, doing graphics *and* bringing the funny? That would be the best job ever, even if I got paid in, I don't know, Corn Flakes.
However, living in New York in order to hold down said job would be a challenge. Refraining from humping Jon Stewart's leg whenever he walks by? Also a challenge.
3. What is the most interesting thing you've done in the last 12 months?
I don't know. ^^; Interesting to experience, or interesting to tell about? ::shrug:: The one completely new thing that comes to mind is going to my first wushu tournament ever. It was definitely an experience I hadn't had before, esp. because I hadn't ever competed in an individual sport at that level.
4. If you got a pet, what would it be, and what would you name it?
I have wanted a cat for many years, and by jooky, I WILL GET ONE. I just have to move somewhere that will allow it, first. ;p Its name would be quite dependent on its personality and appearance, so that's hard to predict.
5. Do you conciously think when you type "AKSLDFLGHE..." etc, or is it completly reflex by now?
Totally reflex, dude. ::laughs:: Being easily amused helps.
