If'n you missed it, my greeting card list is still open! Leave your info if you're interested.

Stolen from [livejournal.com profile] storm_dancer: Justin-Freaking-Timberlake is Iron Man?! They MUST be joking. Justin Timberlake is so not hot. Or talented. Or, you know, ANYTHING useful. ::vomit::

I ordered a cheapo broadsword and an instructional DVD a couple of days ago, so I can play with it during the Wushu Club hiatus. The sword ships today! I'm not sure when the DVD will show up, but still, BROADSWORD!!

Weekend was awesome. Nick's birthday party was fun--I got to hang out with some cool kids from work, and try out Halo 2, which I'm (still) horrible at. I at least figured out that I need to use Inverted controls and turn down the Look Sensitivity, so maybe one day I won't just be cannon fodder. :) Nick also makes really dangerous Jello shots. They were really tasty, but the first time I put one in my mouth, the entire inside of my mouth started tingling and burning like nothing I've ever ingested before. *Definitely* not for lightweights.

Also: being someone's proxy shooter? Probably not the best idea. ::rotfl:: We started playing Lunch Money, and we decided that every time somebody lost some of their change, they had to take a shot. James couldn't do this, however, because he's on medication that interacts in really bad, deadly ways with alcohol. So, I ended up being his designated proxy shooter, meaning that I took ALL of his shots for him. ^^; It didn't get me too terribly drunk, but it certainly could have.

As I mentioned, my computer had a virus yesterday--fortunately, it works fine now. Prior to that, I was RPing. I got to do some great sneaking around and evidence-gathering, and my character has some decisions to make. Oh, and her dubious background may become public knowledge in-game, which is not so good. But hey, she'll get around it.

After work, I'm off to rehearse some Christmas songs, because the musically-inclined people here at work are going to sing at an old folks' home on Saturday. I volunteered to play piano for it, but I have no idea how much my skills have atrophied since the last time I played, so that is a bit nerve-wracking. Boooo. I'll get by, though, I'm sure.

Oh, and I might be getting an early Christmas present today! It depends on whether or not I have time to go pick it up this evening. I'm excited. Yeeee!

That is all. ::poof::
