Unexpectedly, my foot problem is now taken care of! :O I completely wasn't expecting them to actually do the full-on procedure today, but they said "whatever fits with your schedule," and getting it overwith sounded really good to me. So, here I am with a puffy bandage on my toe. Huzzah! I'm looking forward to it healing up, because I've nearly forgotten what it's like to do wushu without worrying that I'll land wrong on my gimp toe.

We went out and saw The Incredibles on Saturday, and not surprisingly, it was a most excellent film. People generally note that Pixar movies are good because they have a quality story to go with the pretty animation, and that assessment is absolutely correct. I never walk out of a Pixar movie feeling disappointed, because they always give me something fun and engaging to watch. But I have to say, the hair effects? And the water effects? And the water-on-hair effects? SO AMAZING.

Random conflicts came up for us on Sunday, so Team America: World Police has been tentatively bumped over to Tuesday night. As always, sing out if you're interested.

Geh, holiday planning looms in my midst. I have very little clue about what to put on my Christmas list, and my parents keep asking for ideas on what to get for me. And, I don't really know what my travel plans are, what with having a job that doesn't shut down for 2 weeks around the holidays. I'm completely not ready to be thinking about this at all.

That said, would anyone be interested in Thanksgiving dinner? J made acres of food last year because neither of us had the time or means to go see our families, and we're looking at doing it again this year, so having some company might be cool. :)

That's all I can think of, for now.

LOL, unfortunately, I've pretty much forgotten the staff form. ^^; I guess it's okay, though, because they're having me focus primarily on Nanquan for the moment.

Have you gotten to TKD at all recently? Hope things are going well! :D

I think money is the one thing I'm *not* worrying about this year! But in previous years, ugh x_x It was lucky if I had enough gas money to get to my parents' house and back without them reimbursing me for the costs.
