We are going to Team America: World Police, probably on Sunday afternoon! See it again, for the first time. Or, you know, just see it for the first time. ;p
You know, I'd never had the displeasure of actually *seeing* the Teletubbies, but somehow, my TV wound up landing on OPB this morning, presumably after TiVo recorded something while I was asleep, so right as I was waking up? Tinky Winky or whatever his name is was dancing around with his rotund band of buddies. That show? Is *creepy*. Why does anyone let their kids watch this junk?
In other news, I'm set up to see a a doctor about my foot next Monday, assuming I can figure out how to bill my insurance without having the card on hand. (the benefits apparently went into effect on the 1st, but a proper insurance card hasn't arrived yet.) I don't think I've seen a real doctor in years, so it's about damned time.
Yesterday, there was a meet and greet in honor of the new people in Dev and QA. Which means FREE BEER! So you really can't go wrong with that. ::laughs:: I circulated around a bit, had a few nice chats, and I might be getting a new task or three, if all goes well. I hope so, because I need it right now. NEED MORE WORK. x_x
Ha ha, suck it, Rory! I was actually starting to hate him less over the past few episodes, mostly because I kind of agree with him about some of the wussy girls on Yasur, but man, does he have an abrasive personality!
Ami's toast after the guys are gone, unless she can somehow work the trust and convince all the girls that she's taking them to the Final 2. She is SO OBVIOUS about being in power that it would take an idiot not to notice.
Also? Sarge owned that immunity challenge. I forget that he is/was military, but apparently he's still got the edge, even though he's getting on in years. Oh, and Chris' unintentional "leg up" comment to Chad? Priceless. I like Chad for being able to get such a good laugh out of it.
Anybody who missed last night's CSI should try to catch it this weekend, if they can find it, because Summer Glau was on last night's episode. It was only for a short scene, but she was quite good.
Anyway, break time is over, so I'm off.
EDIT: Oh my GOD. Best. Costume. EVER.
