Another lazy weekend. Ahhhh. :D

junsiew and I finally got out today for a white pad thai lunch and some yarn shopping, so I now have a jiffy hook and some pretty new yarn to play with. I'm looking forward to doing some open crochet work, and I will also attempt to make a wrap/shawl that should hopefully be appropriate to go with some of my seldom-used eveningwear.

I *had* planned to go to work after the yarn shopping expedition, because I was sick earlier in the week, but I must have missed the boat on one of the eighty billion or so key changes, because none of the keys I had would grant me access to the building. Grrr! I tried the weird little keypad, too, but apparently the code isn't the same as the one upstairs. Sigh. I suppose it's okay, though, because I *am* pretty sleepy.

Yesterday, I played through more of La Pucelle--the story seems to be more sentimental thus far, as opposed to Disgaea, where the generally warped sensibilities of the people in the Netherworld tend to keep things on the lighter side. I do still like the game, though, and I convinced a pretty burly bear to join my team, so they aren't getting thrashed quite so often. :)
