Apparently, Eddie Izzard is supposed to appear on the Conan O'Brien show on November 16! Now *they* are two great tastes that will most likely go great together. Whee! That's exciting.

The apathy bug didn't go away yesterday, and I started feeling like poo in the early afternoon, so I bailed on practice and played Sims 2 all evening after work. Yes, I'll be a wushu champion in no time! ::rotfl::

Have I mentioned that I love Sims 2? Because I do. And holy jeebus, I really enjoy raising kids in that game. They're just so CUTE. It's oddly amusing just to watch them run around with their little friends from school, jump on the bed, giggle, and do various other kid-like things. Also, the one I spent most of yesterday on was in the middle of a game of darts when her mom and dad got home from work, and she completely dropped what she was doing just to run out and hug each of her parents. It's just so... aaaawwwww! Cuteness overload!

And no, I am *not* having kids of my own any time soon, just in case the above passage had you thinking otherwise. Really, I can only fit Sim kids in on weekends, so lord knows how I'd keep up with a real one.

Apparently Conan was mocking the Brits earlier in the show, and Paul pointed out that that was an incredibly stupid thing to do when you had a Brit as a guest, and in retribution, Paul used the loose quote "You say tomato, we say tomAHto, you say potato, we say poTAHto, you say 'erbs, we say Herbs, because there's a fucking 'H' in it." Unless, of course, that's just a Britishism that was freaking hysterical to us Yanks because we hadn't heard it from anyone but Eddie. :D
