I'm waiting for a content posting to happen, so I'll kill a few minutes here!

I AM BUYING SIMS 2 TOMORROW. I already knew it would be awesome when they announced it, but OH MAN, everything [livejournal.com profile] craftyran has said about it thus far has me practically salivating with delight. The only reason I'm not buying it today? I don't get paid until tomorrow. OMGOMGOMG.

I'm also seriously looking into getting an electric guitar, finally. My days as a poor student and a starving college graduate are finally coming to an end, so I get to actually *do* these things. The guitar is going to be el Cheapo, but hey, my acoustic was a cheapo, too, and I can't even play particularly well yet. I don't figure that an expensive guitar is at all justifiable until I have massive guitar-playing skills and at least a small but elite cadre of groupies.

This just in: HOLY CRAP it's the complete first season of Punky Brewster! Attention all marketing people: this idea of releasing 80's shows on DVD? *Brilliant!*

Dinner was fun last night--Keigo had a couple of his new local NJ friends over, and they made a fabulous meal of yakisoba, sushi, and miso soup. One of the aforemented NJs actually works at Misako, so she made beautifully rolled, uramaki zushi. (a.k.a. sushi with the rice on the outside) I've never had much luck doing it that way, so I was impressed. Oddly, I also found out that Keigo is moving into good ol' Douglass Hall, which also means that he'll be one of [livejournal.com profile] junsiew's residents. In case this town didn't seem small enough already... :)

Yoga class, on the other hand, totally kicked my ass. I'm more sore than usual today, and it seemed like I had a lot of trouble holding poses that normally don't bother me much. I've been feeling unusually flimsy all week, and I'm not sure why. Bleeeehhh.

Anyway, I have a database schema to plan! So I'm off.

Oh, sorry. Mine is a righty I think.

But I'm willing to let mine go for a hundred bucks, cause that's slightly less than what I paid for it. It's a two hundred dollar guitar new though.
It's a Fender Squire Strat.
