So, last night, as an attempt to decompress, I sat down and watched the first installment of Hornblower! I wound up loving it, not surprisingly.
craftyran must be proud. ^_-
It's interesting to look at some of the things I've been watching via Netflix as of late, because I'd probably have thought they were boring and stupid 5 years ago. Nowadays, it seems as if I can actually watch and recognize quality cinema. I've always been able to recognize really bad movies and deftly avoid them, but separating the mediocre from the good was a bit tougher to grasp, I guess.
Anyway, I wound up bailing out early yesterday because I was feeling awful in the afternoon. I still went to my trainer appointment, though, because if you don't cancel at least 24 hours in advance, they can still charge you for the appointment. Rrrr. It wasn't too bad, though--about 1/3rd of it was her demonstrating some new weight training exercises for me, so I didn't kill myself.
Also funny, at least to me: they had me doing squat jumps at one point, and my trainer and her husband (who is also a trainer) commented that I had "serious hops." This is news to me, so it must be *something* I've been doing in the past 6 months or so. Heh, UO Wushu for life! :)
Anyway, back to bug-slaying for me.
