batskeetsI'm starting to realize that I haven't been in much of a journaling mood lately. I think the major reason I'm posting right now is because I rarely go two days in a row without saying *something*. ;p
We had a nice, low-key visit with a member of James' family from late Friday through early Saturday evening. After that, we went for Thai food at a random place (Kuraya's?) in Springfield, which![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
craftyran seemed mightily impressed with. I must admit that I was longing for some of my old standby (white pad thai from Tasty Thai), but this place did pretty well, too, and I enjoyed the peanut sauce immensely.
BTW, anyone reading this should probably give Ran's opinion more weight than mine, because she eats lots of Thai, whereas I'm just obsessed with a few select things of the Thai food persuasion. :)
Today we played Star Wars for a few hours, and my character didn't do a whole lot, but he did a mighty fine bluff versus a Jedi, so that was pretty sweet. I seem to be gaining a reputation for making characters who withold all back story at all costs. ^^; Duo just doesn't want to jeopardize his flow of income, man!
Anyway, it's back to work tomorrow... I must admit that I'm still rather intimidated by the whole business, but it's getting better over time. It just needs to sink in, I suppose... and if it doesn't fully set in soon, it will certainly hit me when my first paycheck shows up. Hee. :)
