The number of cheerleaders in matching outfits that have been roaming around here as of late is a little creepy. Yes, I know they come here every year, but it's *always* creepy. That many people in matching outfits is just wrong!

In other news, I AM DONE! :D Yes, no more working nights for me. I think this job has finally taught me that working nights is really *not* all I thought it would be. Although it wasn't an entirely bad way to live, in some ways, I still get the feeling that I slept through some potentially good times. And I was never quite sure about when to eat my meals, either.

The couch broke last night, completely at random. One of the feet broke off of its respective corner, so now the couch is tilted forward and to one side in a rather sad-looking fashion. :( Anybody know where we'd go to get a new couch? I'm thinking of being a cheap bastard and just asking our friendly neighborhood landlord to find one for us, but if we don't, I think we'll want a new one. I really must get over my tendency towards hand-me-down furniture acquisitions.

I am *so* getting this shirt. LMAO! Well, maybe. After I get a pretty new computer case. ::laughs::

Anyway, it's dopey quiz time!

Surely it'd be easier to just replace the foot than to buy a whole new couch...?

Brilliant! And then you never have to worry about losing things under the couch!

Never rule out "break shit" as a solution.

you can do what my friend did and saw the other legs off. but one of her front legs on her sofa broke... so actually she sawed the other front one off and it turned into a reclining sofa. oddly more comfortable. she could ghetto fix with the best of them.

If you have a carpentry-savvy friend you could do what we did, when yet *another* of the legs broke and paint cans just weren't cutting it anymore: my dad built us an I-shaped frame of wood to place underneath, screwing it into the couch frame. Now it's more stable than it ever was. That may not be an option if your sofa doesn't have a ruffle around it obscuring what's underneath.
