batskeetsSo, prior to the karaoke stupf on what is now technically yesterday, we went out and got various organizational shelving units today, and when I was unable to sleep at 4 or 5am, I started assembling one: a nifty video/DVD cabinet which opens out and has shelves on the inside of the doors. This was by far the most complicated piece of furniture that we got today, and we also don't have a proper hammer, so I just got done with it about 10 minutes ago. ::laughs:: I am so, so stupid.
But hey, it looks cool, and I get this odd sense of joy from assembling furniture. I'd say that I should take up woodworking for that reason, but sawing and sanding seem like things that I'm too scared and too impatient to do, respectively.
So, the karaoke was fun, and I also made some pretty good bubble tea. Still not quite as good as what I get at the cafe, but closer. I ordered a wushu video and some spankin' new Feiyues. Normally, I might say more about all of these things, but we're playing Spycraft in 3 hours, and I haven't slept yet.
Did I mention that I'm a stupid, stupid girl? That would be why. :p
