I was flirting with the idea of getting a fitted, new era Sox cap (somebody on
chi_white_sox posted a nice discount code for it), so I measured my head to figure out my hat size, and JESUS CHRIST I HAVE A BIG HEAD. They got a similar result for my high school grad cap, but wow, it's really true! According to the size chart, I'd need an extra-large Sox cap to cover my noggin. My parents' heads certainly don't seem that big, so why'd mine turn out to be such a melon? ::laughs::
Well, silly cap flirtation aside, the knowledge that the Sox have been giving Minnesota a good swift kick in the Twins, so to speak, makes me happy. :D Stay away from first place, you!
Anyhoo, yesterday and most of today were total, total shit. There's really no other word for it, because I've been in the stressed out, sleep-deprived, crap mood of the century. Even the office job was rather trying yesterday, because I had a god-awful time with the OPLD corrections. I also skipped the gym for the last 2 nights in a row, because I needed to spend the time working. So, I'm feeling simultaneously stressed out *and* lazy, which is just crazy.
But, today was better than yesterday, because:
1) the Spidey 2 outing! Standing in line is nicer when you have a bunch of friendly folks with you. :) And I got to play DDR beforehand! And the movie was, once again, nicely done. Sam Raimi = Coolest Director EVER. (yeah, you heard me, Spielberg. :p)
2) We went out to dinner, so I didn't have to cook or clean, and James made a concerned effort to improve my mood and get my mind off the stress. (he'd have done better if he hadn't kept flinging around horribly butchered Japanese phrases, because that drives me completely NUTS)
3) I am DONE DONE DONE! Well, more like 95% done, but I'm as done as I'm going to get without the card processing account info. We should be getting that in the next day or so, and then I will be 100% done with the e-commerce stuff, and it's all downhill from there. <3
So, yeah, I'm doing okay. I think I'm taking a breather for a day or two after I get done with the e-commerce, though, before I tackle any other particularly huge projects. I need to decompress. I haven't seen Jon Stewart in days, and that makes me sad. ;_; (Every time The Daily Show is on, my eyes are pretty much glued to the TV, and I've needed them to be glued to the computer, recently)
Well, enough babble. It's time for bed.
