batskeetsSurprise surprise, I didn't get up for the wushu demo this morning. I couldn't fall asleep until after 6a, so I couldn't get up after 3 hours of sleep to go do wushu on wobbly, sleep-deprived legs. I hope nobody had their heart set on my being there. :)
In other news, OMFG MY BIRTHDAY IS IN 13 DAYS AAAAAHHHHHH :O
For some reason, it completely slipped past me until just now. I haven't given my family a birthday list, I haven't even thought about what to do for my special day. I don't know how special it is, though... birthdays seem like they enter a sort of downward spiral after you hit 21. I don't want it to be that way, though! Part of me wants to go out and drink, but that would probably leave out some very important people who are not so much into the drinking thing. So, I'm thinking about a bowling party, or maybe dinner.
Anybody have any ideas?
I suppose that whether or not it takes place on my *actual* birthday is moot, because it's on a bloody Tuesday this year. :p Do you think I should celebrate on the weekend after, or the actual day of? What do your schedules look like? (assuming you would actually show up, that is)
Also, I'm sure that most of you are as poor as I am, but on the off chance that the mood should strike you, here's my Amazon Wish List.
I'd better get back to work. I have webstuff to do over the next 3 hours!
