Burning down the house
Mar. 30th, 2004 08:25 pmMy check finally arrived today, so I just paid for my Lippy top! I think she's shipping it tomorrow. Yeee!
I'm feeling very Suzy Homemaker today--I did a holy boatload of house cleaning, dish washing, and also some grocery shopping. And that's all I've done today! I'm so glad that I'll start working again next week, even if it'll be during bizarre hours of the day. All this free time is making me crave school.
In other news, I found the part we need to fix the Mac for $60! I'm seriously thinking about attempting an at-home repair now... it beats forking over literally 10 times as much money to stupid Apple because they won't even acknowledge that the design defect exists. I probably won't get it until I find out how much my wushu silks are going to be, though. (Brandon might get us a deal on those)
Lately, for some reason, I've been watching reruns of Two Guys and a Girl in the afternoons. A lot of that has to do with the awesome power of Nathan "Cap'n Tightpants" Fillion, but I am still vaguely embarassed to be watching a show with such an unimaginative title.
And now, it's TERIYAKI TAIMU! :D I'm making teriyaki steak, to be more specific.
Tomorrow: freelance stupf, a hopefully short meeting, interview prep, vacuuming, wushu.
