It's 4:30am, I can't sleep, and I'm waiting for a drive to format. So, it's MEME TAIMU! (yanked from ghost_girl)

I have no idea what tomorrow will be like. DDS has kept me out late the past few nights, and I've been sleeping an extra hour or two each night since catching this half-flu or whatever it is, so all attempts to get up earlier have been in vain. Maybe I'll just take a nap and try to stay up through tomorrow night.

I am debating going up to Tigard for a group interview on Wednesday. It wouldn't even be a debate if they had called me personally, but the invitation came from an e-mail autoresponder after I sent my resume to them. I think I'll probably go--I have a couple other things I can do up there, even if the interview thing doesn't go as planned.

I can't wait for the hard drive to finish formatting. 200GB! <3 Not to mention that I'm several weeks behind on Naruto episodes due to my old 40GB being full, so I have some catching up to do.

The name of the 200GB is all the fault of aniline, who mentioned the Transformers movie recently: It's called Planet Eater. It's eating the contents of my older, smaller drive! Hoo hoo hoo! ::rotfl:: It was either that or something Borg-related, because the new drive is assimilating the old data and adding the old drive's technological uniqueness to its own! ::rotfl::

... WHAT??

I honestly don't know how to make one, exactly, but it'd be fun to try.

As for what one looks like, you'd have to watch Dude, Where's My Car? More specifically, the parts centering around Zoltan. (played by the always-awesome Hal Sparks)

I'm still a bit perplexed as to why anybody likes yaoi. o.O

I think for me, it's in part because I tend to like the male characters in a given program more than the female characters that are generally intended to be primary love interests. For instance, in Gundam Wing, I'd rather have Heero paired with Duo, because Duo is awesome, whereas Relena is irritating and should fall off the planet as soon as possible. So, yeah, perhaps it's just my own brand of backlash against female characters that represent everything I find annoying about my own gender.

But in some cases, the dialogue between two male characters is so laden with gay subtext that it's near-impossible not to notice it. Or, sometimes the history between them suggests a deeper emotional tie than anything they might hope to achieve with a third party. It's interesting to explore a previously unexplored idea.

Or, you know, maybe we're just ladies that are overly-heterosexual. :)

Duo was awesome, certainly, but Heero was almost as vapid as Relina. Almost. I'd be much more understanding of the matter if you said, say, Zechs and Duo. Heero? Bleh. You need to you get you a new man, mhmm.

Oyako don is one of my favorite things to get when I eat Japanese food! It's basically just a chicken and egg rice bowl, but with onions and other flavorings that are very Japanese. Here's a recipe (http://www.jfc.com/recipes/jlist/rice/oyakodon.html) if you want to try making it.
