HAPPY PI DAY! It would be even better if I said this at 1:59, but I was still groggy at that point. ;p

Last night I applied for jobs around Seattle, did some dishes, made myself an omelet for dinner, and then watched the terebi until I fell asleep. Wheee. I might have done more, but after my shower, I was so tired that I didn't really feel like it, and I probably wouldn't have been terribly good company, either. (my arms are *still* sore from practice)

I have randomly determined that I need a good foundation or pressed powder. Unfortunately, being haafu, it's kind of a pain finding a good colour, so I'm kind of at a loss as to where I should look. I definitely need something yellow-based, though, because all the stuff I have is too pale and/or too pink for half-Asian flesh. Maybe I should just hit up a cosmetics person at a department store?

Today I run out to Costco, and then I'll likely come back and do some freelancing until something good comes on the TV.

Yup. I favor MAC, myself, but you wouldn't do badly to try a variety of companies. If there's a Sephora in your area, they'll have a pretty broad range of options in one store.

I'm trying to remember where your title is from. It's driving me crazy. A Homestar Runner quote, maybe? Gr.

However, since I know the quote, it undoubtedly means it's some kind of geeky quote, and that is sexy. Meow for you.

Aye, it's courtesy of episode #4 of Teen Girl Squad (http://www.homestarrunner.com/tgs4.html). <3

as for foundation, I recommend perscirptives (sp) at merir and frank they can customize the shit for you so its exactly your skin tone... Its really the first place I found that could do much of anything for me...

If you're feeling too cheapo to try one of the fancier companies like people have suggested, you might wanna just try the drug store. A few weeks ago we got this new line from either L'Oreal or Revlon (I can never remember =P) called True Match. Apparently there's 3 different spectrums of shades: warm undertones, cool undertones, and neutral, so supposedly it's supposed to match closer. There's Asian women in the pictures on the display unit, and it's new so there should be testers to play with, so maybe give that a shot?

I hear Shiseido pretty much rocks for us olive-toned ladies. I'm too cheap and use Jane translucent powder, which works fine for me.

Speaking of MAC, though, their Lip Conditioner is THE BEST lip balm I've ever used.
