So, yeah, after the long, long wait for them to post the results, I took 9th at Collegiates. Middle of the field, I guess, because there were 16 girls, but still, bleh. This is not surprising, because I knew it wasn't my best from the moment I started, but it's still kind of a downer. :( All the more reason to work harder and win at Berkeley.

Ichi the Killer was very "WTF?!" indeed. The gore factor was pretty high, but there were many times where they pushed it to the point of ridiculousness, so it was funny in a disturbing way. I'm not even sure how to explain the plot. I mean, I could, I suppose, but it wouldn't really tell you much about the movie.

Note to self: I am not such a big fan of Red Hook IPA. :p

Anyhoo, today is going to be a day of movie-watching, before I suck down any more late fees. :p I'm not feeling 100%, so I may not go to practice.

EDIT: But, apparently I am going to work now, because I enjoy punishing myself. :p But, I won't have to work on Wednesday, which is *great*. Having practice and work back-to-back is no good at all.

Did you see the R-rated version of Ichi or the unrated? The R-rated is pretty bad...most of the really sick parts are cut out.
