"Love me, love MacGyver."
Mar. 1st, 2004 05:58 pmMy sleep schedule is completely out of whack. Yay! ;p
Let's see. I was awake until a little after 7am, after the fun and frolick on Saturday night, finding something to eat, and then idly watching The Saint as I tried to fall asleep. With a few interruptions that woke me up, I wound up sleeping until almost 5pm Sunday afternoon. Whoops. Last night, I decided that I could conceivably wake up pre-noon and not feel like utter crap, even though I was up until almost 7a again. But, 3 hours later, James came in and was feeling rather fired up about several things, so I wound up getting up and going out for breakfast with him.
Of course, this means a 2-3 hour interruption in my sleep, so I crashed out again around 1p, and now I'm waking up again at a wholly insane hour. I think the only reason I got up was because I have wushu at 7, and rumor has it we'll be starting straightsword form this week.
I have also determined that I don't like Shari's scrambled eggs. Or at the very least, I don't like eggs cooked by the people who work at that particular Shari's. They weren't even scrambled very well, today--there were big blobs of unmixed white and yolk in the mess.
I think the Stanford trip really took it all out of me, because I'm now definitely sitting at the low point on my personal sine wave. I *really* have to argue with myself before I'll actually sit down and get work done, and I've been eating like crap. I've been eating *far* less like crap than I did while on the trip, but compared to before I left, it's crap. I think that the work-related lethargy is wearing off, though. Travelling is fun, but it seems to wear me out.
It's really too bad, too, because I've been having some good times, as of late. And I hope to have more good times. If I hadn't slept all damned day on Sunday, I could have called up
skamp for some fun. I guess it will have to wait until next weekend. :)
Bleh. Tomorrow, I clean up my diet to where it was pre-trip. I liked eating better, and I think the crap food is dragging me down in other aspects of recent life.
