Those who saw tonight's Angel probably know what I'm talking about. And those who didn't probably know of my fetish for blue hair on NJs. :) WHAT??
DUDE! In a couple weeks, the Eugene Opera is doing the HMS PINAFORE!! Is it wrong that I'm so weirdly excited about this? ::rotfl:: Who wants to go with me?!
Tonight was pretty relaxing, overall. I went downstairs for the usual Wednesday TV Night, and
craftyran was making Chicken Korma! It was *good*, especially seeing as I rarely get to eat Indian food anymore. And, there was also homemade ice cream! You have no idea how happy I am to be eating homemade food. <3 And work was pretty quiet, too. I can't complain, except for the whole thing of feeling like crap.
Well, in spite of all my whining and complaining about it, there is *one* good thing that has come out of the recent Atkins craze: Good sugar alternatives!
See, back in the day, you had sugar, or aspartame-based sweeteners. The former would be bad for your overall health, or at least it is in mass quantities. The latter, on the other hand, had the potential to muck with your brain cells, and caused cancer in laboratory animals. But now, with everyone avoiding sugar and simple carbs, companies are finally exploring and using other sugar alternatives, like maltitol and sugar alcohols. Hooray! My brain may finally be safe! :D
In other news, someone was denied a scholarship because they wanted to study Theology. This seems like a bunch of crap to me; if they aren't allowed to discriminate against those who choose not to participate in religious activities, then they should also not discriminate against those who *do* choose to pursue religion.
To do tomorrow: mail out things, freelance.
Anyway, I'm going to go read and get some good sleep. I hope I feel more healthy tomorrow.
