So, yeah, Mardi Gras officially sucks. Or at least, it does when you're working.

Yes, my shift was fairly brutal tonight. How could you tell? ;p

Anyway, my nap earlier turned out to be, uh, a really long nap. I guess I still have a lot of sleep to catch up on from the weekend, and I am definitely still feeling a bit sluggish from all the junk food we ate. But, I think I'm starting to feel better now. :) I may actually get a normal amount of sleep tonight. And, I had the most wonderful salad for dinner, so I'm a happy camper.

I may bake some chinese egg custard tarts tomorrow! I was going to make them for the DDS bake sale, but I was so tired on Sunday night that I slept until 1:30p on Monday. I'm feeling a little guilty about not helping out, and I also really wanted to try making those tarts.

Wushu practice resumes tomorrow. I'm so ready!

Stuff that needs doing tomorrow: fill out OHP docs, freelancing, call my PersonnelSource rep.

FYI... except for the reference to your mood and the Pixies, this is a word-for-word comment I've been seeing in other people's journals. Either someone has way too much fun with cutting and pasting or there's some sort of sinister ad campaign going on.

Yeah, these stupid things have been showing up everywhere! Surefire way to get me to *not* watch the movie. :p

I didn't go out for Mardi Gras. It was "Alias" and "24" night for my dad and I.

Hey Sarah! Do you have a good recipe for the tarts that doesn't involve lard? :P

The recipe I have involves 1/2 cup of chilled butter, and 2 Tbsp of shortening for the pastry crust... if that's satisfatory, let me know! :)
