"NON-NUTRITIVE CEREAL VARNISH!!"
Feb. 6th, 2004 12:50 amYeah, it's not every day that you and the other guy watching TV simultaneously point at the screen, and shout a phrase like "Non-nutritive cereal varnish" in unison. ::rotfl:: Refer to National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation, and today's breakfast cereal episode of Unwrapped, and maybe it will make sense. :) Or, you know, not. ::rotfl::
New assignments are going up at The Board, as we speak. There are still some sizeable ones that haven't been claimed yet. And, we still need more recipes, too, so have a look!
OMG I'm so sad about the Survivor boot! It would have been bad either way, given who was being debated, but it still sucks. And the preview for next week... gaaahh. Hopefully the high-profileness of Saboga in the preview is simply a red herring, as it often is. That would mean they won't lose any more (good) people next week. But ew, Jerri fighting with Rupert is no good at all.
I was randomly bopping around town today, and I think I may have found a printing place or three that I should contact. Once I get an idea of the printing costs, then I can set advertising rates, and all that stuff.
I've had a headache for days, it seems. I've certainly had one for all day today, and it only gets worse when I'm on the computer for any extended period. That's kind of a problem, considering that it's a very integral part of my livelihood. Maybe I should actually see a doctor about these headaches, instead of just forgetting about them after they go away. ;p
To do tomorrow: call Aventis, call PersonnelSource (again), call printing places, go out and apply for retail jobs (if I feel up to it), freelance stuff, magazine site (maybe).
This weekend is going to be heavy on the suckage: I work Friday *and* Saturday night. Bleh! But come Feb. 27th, I will be rolling in riches, mates!
And jeez, I'm being a posting whore tonight. ;p I'm off.

Date: 2004-02-06 01:58 pm (UTC)It's just kind of weird, because lately I've been waking up in the morning, after 6-8 hours of *not* using my eyes, and I'll still have a headache. Bleh!
