batskeetsI'm posting more assignments (including the first Photo assignment!) at The Board, and I just sent out interview questions for the Chicks In Science article! If you're on the list and I have your e-mail address, check your inbox.
If you didn't receive the questions, and you want to be interviewed, or know someone who does, just give me the interviewee's e-mail address, and I'll send the questions along. (I know I probably missed a few due to lack of e-mail addresses, so let me know!)
I dragged myself over to Personnel Source between my usual Tuesday afternoon drop-off and pick-up, to see what was going on with the online application I sent them, oh, a month or so ago? Of course, the online app was pretty worthless, because they had me fill another one out on paper. But, they asked me to come in tomorrow afternoon for some computer-based testing, so I consider that a good sign. My God, even if all I get out of it is temp work, I will be a happy little camper.
Anyway, that is *all* that we are doing today. Well, I'm doing some magazine stuff, but all that involves right now is sitting in the ol' office chair and typing. But, pretty soon I'm going to curl up in a blanket and try not to feel like crap, until my DDS shift at 10p. I'm storing up my creativity for tomorrow, because I will be doing phatty amounts of design/web work for the rest of the week.
And, I'm spent.
P.S. I *still* CAN NOT BELIEVE that Johnny Depp got an Oscar nod for Pirates! Granted, he was awesome, and he deserves the attention, but I figured the Academy would be too stodgy to even nominate him.
