batskeets | "Oh, commercial!" "COMMERCIAAAALL!!"

Today was quite relaxing and very fun. I made my grandpa's onion dip and put together nice snacky plates for the game, and James made mini-burgers and oven fries, and later on some brownies. Yummy! :D The first quarter or so of the game was pretty boring, but it wound up being a pretty exciting race by the end. Of course, every time they took a commercial break, we were yelling "Commercial!!" so that everyone knew when to come in and catch them. ::laughs:: That's probably the only time when you actually *want* to see them.

Sadly, the commercials were pretty lackluster this year, for the most part. I think part of that was due to there being way, way too many car commercials, and most car commercials are boring and completely un-funny. Bleh. :p

Survivor was TEH AWESOME! :D I think I'm rooting for Saboga, because they seem to have more of my standout favorites (Rupert and Rudy!!), and not as many of the really annoying people. Also, as a random aside, Shii Ann is originally from Taipei! (That would also be where my ma grew up in Taiwan) Damn, I'm easily amused.

Anyway, I'm currently feeling like crap, and I didn't get a lot of sleep last night. So, there will be more eBay items, more Magazine posts, and much time spent in front of my glowing square. But not until tomorrow, that is. :)

And I'm off like a dirty shirt!
