Fun for bored people: Go to Google, type in "miserable failure," and click on I'm Feeling Lucky. Hee!
I'm itching to work on my Protoss strategy page, but I can't find my Starcraft CD. I'm guessing that one of the guys borrowed it, and it got buried on one of their respective desks. I planned to play a couple missions before starting on the layout, so I can look at the units and menus and such, and derive some ideas and inspiration from them. Hrm. What to do.
I had a bubble tea today! A lead on where to get it was posted on
eugenecommunity, and I was planning on stepping out today anyway, so I went over there to try it out. Don't ask me if it was a high-quality bubble tea, because I'd never had bubble tea at all before today. I got a coconut-flavored one, though, and I really enjoyed it. What an interesting beverage. :)
BTW, for folks in Eugene who haven't yet heard, the bubble tea can be had at KB Deli & Ice Cream. It's near Gateway Mall, behind Hollywood Video. In the same little complex as Ben Franklin Crafts, if you know where that is. It's run by these two really nice Asian ladies, too.
I'm getting really ticked off at how slow the USPS has been lately. Not only is my package not here, but a couple checks that I am also expecting haven't yet arrived, either, and I know at least one of them was mailed about a week ago, from in-state, which means that it should have been here by now. I wouldn't mind so much if these weren't things that I really needed and wanted to receive on schedule.
Anyway, I suppose I should get back to doing Important Things.
