I am really tired today, and stressed out. I think a Dutch Bros. stop before work is in order. Well, maybe not--coffee would definitely help with the former of the two problems, but it could be bad for the latter.
The meeting went fine. It ended up taking place an hour later than originally planned, but that was okay. I now have logins, so I can start fixing things! They're also talking about setting up some kind of cubicle or office-type space for the project. So, if I start feeling cabin fever-ish, I'll have someplace to go and work. I will also be designing an advertisement for one of the companies that wants to advertise with the magazine, so that could lead to money and prestige! Or at least, a portfolio piece that I don't hate. :)
I made my photocopies, so now I just have to start posting flyers up around town. Hopefully, somebody with money will request some work. Or at least, somebody that can offer me a portfolio-worthy project. Or, maybe even somebody who can trade me one service for another--like a local musician that will teach me guitar in exchange, or something. There's more than one path to getting what I want, right?
I think I am going to work out at home instead of wushu today, because A) I'm sleepy, B) I think I slept on my back wrong because it hurts like hell, and C) I'd have to leave early anyway. Weak excuses, I know, but today is already stressing me out and giving me a headache. I'd also like to be on time for work (I was a good 15 minutes late last Wed.), and I'd like to actually eat my dinner, rather than inhale it, like I did last week.
Bold the ones you've been to. (I also italicized the ones I've lived in):
1) Alabama, 2) Alaska , 3) Arizona, 4) Arkansas, 5) California, 6) Colorado, 7) Connecticut, 8) Delaware, 9) Florida, 10) Georgia, 11) Hawaii, 12) Idaho, 13) Illinois, 14) Indiana, 15) Iowa, 16) Kansas, 17) Kentucky, 18) Louisiana, 19) Maine, 20) Maryland, 21) Massachusetts, 22) Michigan, 23) Minnesota, 24) Mississippi, 25) Missouri, 26) Montana, 27) Nebraska, 28) Nevada, 29) New Hampshire, 30) New Jersey, 31) New Mexico , 32) New York, 33) North Carolina, 34) North Dakota, 35) Ohio, 36) Oklahoma, 37) Oregon, 38) Pennsylvania, 39) Rhode Island, 40) South Carolina, 41) South Dakota, 42) Tennessee, 43) Texas, 44) Utah, 45) Vermont, 46) Virginia, 47) Washington, 48) West Virginia, 49) Wisconsin, 50) Wyoming
There are probably a few more, but I'm not 100% sure of them. I'll have to pull out my road atlas sometime and retrace the routes of all those cross-country drives.
And, I'm spent.
