I feel compelled to link to Under Power. The story is certainly not for everyone, but this strip *does* have some of the best art I think I've ever seen in the realm of webcomics. After maybe 10 minutes of paging through the archives, I was struck by an insane urge to pick up my Tria and start sketching. It's pretty inspiring stuff, I must say.

I did a fat stack of freelancing today. I also did massive tidying, and put away most of the stuff that my ma sent back with me. I need to do more tidying in the bathroom before I can possibly fit all the extra shampoo and conditioner in there, though. Seriously, I think I have enough for at *least* the next 6 months. It's kind of scary.

I just put in an order for my monthly pick for buy_this_album! I'm excited. A lot of the more recent music I've wound up loving were bands that came recommended to me by other people, so I'm in the mood to take a few risks. :) And, hopefully folks will like the album *I* recommended. I love The Anniversary.

Holy crap, I just realized that I have to work tomorrow tonight. Well, assuming it's safe, anyway. I kind of want to work, because I like having money, but Boss!James *did* give us the official Get Out Of Work Free card. None of us have keys, which means harassing the night manager in order to get in, and the weather may not be safe to drive in. So, eh, I suppose we'll see how it turns out.

I wish the mail were faster.

cool...you got the same result as me :)...that is indeed a funny quiz...did you check out the other results?...they just crack me up...that Christopher Walken guy is just so wickedly funny...he used to scare me and creep me out, but I've grown to really love the guy...

I imagine, even though I made a pick and voted to listen to Basil's, that I will let the recommendation for The Anniversary percolate enough for me to check that out too...right now my budget says I need to draw the line somewhere though :)
