MY WACOM TABLET IS ARRIVING EARLY NEXT WEEK YEEEEE!!!
Yeah, my daddy called earlier to inform me that he ordered it today, this time from a more reputable establishment, and it will arrive in 3 business days. Neither my mom nor my dad said anything too specific about it, so I still don't know if it will be a Graphire or an Intuos, but you know? I DON'T CARE. It will be beautiful and magical either way. <3
I am currently supressing the urge to make annoying Gollum references when talking about my tablet. ::rotfl:: Of course, with a PS2 also on the way, it's only going to get more difficult from here.
In other news, I feel like crap, and am waiting for my meds to work. :p But there is snow outside like you wouldn't believe! James guessed that there was a good 4 or 5 inches when he got back from work, and it was still coming down at that point. I'm in shock at how much snow we've gotten in Eugene. I think we've had more this winter than in all my other years here combined. If my meds start working to any significant degree (i.e. enough that I feel like walking around for more than a few seconds), I am *so* going out and taking pictures.
Sometime between now and Saturday, I have to make a 16th level Bard. Before you tell me how easy that will be, bear in mind that:
A) I've never played a bard before,
B) I've only really made 1, *maybe* 2 D&D characters without being walked through the process by someone else,
C) I have such crappy luck with RP campaigns that none of my D&D characters ever made it past Level 5. :p
If I had my choice, I'd probably make a fighter or something, just to make it easier on myself, because I have *never* played a high-level character before. But, this is supposed to be a D&D character played by my Spycraft character (Nutkicker), and after thinking on it, I figure that she'd choose a character class that's fairly close to her RL profession. So, I hope I can make a decent bard. Although, if it comes out crappy and useless, that'd probably be true to form for Nutkicker, too. ::laughs::
Today's revised to-do list, due to the inclement weather: freelance, invoices, inventory of computer parts, tidying around the house, work on the bard.
