HAPPY NEW YEAR! :O

So, yeah, no drunken partying for me this evening, after all. Like anyone's surprised. ;p This is what happens when your monthly curse falls on or close to pretty much every major holiday! Laaaame. I HAVE to get better medication for this sort of thing. It's getting better over time, but it's still a pain in the butt.

Still, I had a nice evening with several friends over to sit around, chat, and watch the movie. The Cowboy Bebop movie was *neat*! If you like the show, you'll dig the movie. I really must watch the entire series sometime, because it's so nifty. I keep starting from the beginning with various groups of people, watching a few episodes every week, but the endeavor always seems to get derailed before I reach the end. The farthest I think I've gotten is somewhere in the middle of the 4th DVD. (out of 6 total)

This year is already shaping up to be good for me--I won an auction for a PS2 that also comes with a 4-player multitap and 3 games. Can't beat that with a bat! :D Now I just have to get Karaoke Revolution. And FFX. And that Chrono Trigger/Cross bundle I heard about. And Xenosaga. Oh, and GTA:Vice... aagh, so many choices! Yeee! Yeah, I need to get a job *pronto*, kiddies. ::rotfl::

On the off chance that anyone is interested in my practically-spanking-new Playstation One unit, I'll be selling that off once I have the PS2 in hand. Controller, hookups, and boot disc will be included. (the boot disc lets you play import games and enter cheat codes, no soldering or mod chipping required) It's the nice, new PSOne unit, not the old dinosaur initial release. Make me an offer soon if you're interested, or else you'll have to tangle with the miscellaneous goons lurking on eBay in order to get it. :)

New Year's Resolutions? None for you, mister! I know what my goals are, and they are numerous and ongoing. So, uh, there. ;p

This afternoon I managed to do the dishes and clean the kitchen sink, and I also Drano-ed the hell out of the kitchen and bathroom drains, so at the very least, they will flow better. And maybe it'll also not attract those pesky gnats. And I threw out a bunch of old magazines and papers, and tidied up my bookshelf. AND I went through my closet and extracted all the clothes I haven't worn in 1.5+ years.

My Server Of Doom needs a name! I seem to have a habit of naming big-value items after anime characters. This computer is Inaho (from Master of Mosquiton), my old work computer was Yuusuke (from YuYu Hakusho), the car is Ed (from Cowboy Bebop), etc, etc. The Server Of Doom is going to be a server that hooks up to my TV and plays music and movies. If you have any ideas for a name, I'd love to hear them.

Anyway! To do tomorrow, or Friday if things aren't open: donate old clothes and misc, sell unwanted books to Smith Family, freelance, do invoices, take inventory of compy parts for Server Of Doom!

Oh God. I shouldn't be commenting cause I'm so damn drunk and retarded. So if this comment makes no sense tomorrow, I apologize in advance.

But despite everything that sucks about it(which is a lot), I'm super super super addicted to Final Fantasy X. The 40+ hours or so I've played in the last week have made me re-love what I used to love about getting deeply involved with an RPG. I'll probably even buy X-2 in a couple weeks despite my reservations about paying 50 bucks for any game.

Bad bad voice acting, but the combat system is my favorite of any of the games.
Time to go away before I remember to forget all my rambling.

im slightly drunk but i had a really similar day busy with doing the same kind of stuff- i even vacumed, took out the trash and cleaned the toliets- the apartment doesnt smell like ass anymore-- its good for aonother week.
