Geh, there's this clock in here from the Audubon Society that makes a different chirping bird noise every hour, and OMFG it startles the crap out of me every time it goes off.
I hope I stop feeling ill tomorrow. I'm not really bad off or anything, but it's just enough to make my thoughts and actions move slower than normal.
The events of today were pretty good--I hung around the house for a while until my dad and grandpa came back, and then my dad and I went out to see Paycheck. It was actually pretty good, and my dad and I had kind of an interesting discussion afterwards about various ideas brought up in the movie.
We came back afterwards, and my mom and Judy were gone, so we shot some pool with my grandpa. I think I'm already getting better again. :) We also got Judy involved in several more rounds after dinner, so there was a lot of pool playing today. Fun!
Anyway, when Judy and my mom got back from shopping, they had several pantsuits that they wanted me to try on! Thankfully, there were no pastels or icky tan-colored things, and most everything fit, so I got to keep it. I have *options* for interview clothes! ::boggle:: Not that I don't love the pinstriped suit I got a few weeks ago, but it's nice to have choices. :)
Dinner was barbecued ribs and artichokes! There are no artichokes to be had in Eugene this time of year, and I was *so* in the mood for them.
I just figured out which channel is Spike TV, so I'm watching James Bond movies. Young Sean Connery is actually pretty hot, although I should attribute some of that to the fact that he's playing the insanely self-assured character that is Bond. Well, and the fact that I love the styling of the older movies. There are some pretty cheesy cliches coming with the Japan setting, though.
I can't believe it's almost 1:30 already!! I don't even feel like sleeping yet.
