bored at work
Dec. 19th, 2003 11:35 pmOh, man, it's only an hour in and I'm already bored. We have Top Secret playing in the VCR, which is good, but for some reason my attention span is zero today. I keep hopping between different diversions.
Anyhoo, since I haven't done one in a while, it's FRIDAY FIVE TAIMU
1. List your five favorite beverages.
Pepsi, orange juice, apple cider, caramel macchiato, vanilla stoli's & coke.
2. List your five favorite websites.
This is hard without all my bookmarks on hand, but I'll try: Engrish.com, Television Without Pity, Fark.com, AllRecipes, and GetCrafty (even though they don't update often enough).
Honorable mentions go to Knitty, X-Entertainment, and AnimeSuki.
3. List your five favorite snack foods.
Popcorn, gummi bears/worms/anything, oranges, freshly-baked french bread, honey-roasted peanuts.
4. List your five favorite board and/or card games.
Risk, Clue, Magic, Speed, and Balderdash.
5. List your five favorite computer and/or game system games.
Geh, currently: Warcraft III, Persona 2, Hero Quest/Quest For Glory I (ah, the classics), any version of Mario Kart, DDR (moreso if I had a better home mat).
Hooray! I just killed 25 minutes!
I don't know if I ever remembered to mention this before, but I *need* to either get a PS2 and Karaoke Revolution, or find someone who has it. This is the game of my dreams, people! I love to sing; I love karaoke. The only thing that would be better is if it would let you sing lead *or* backup, because it's fun to pick out vocal harmonies in different songs. Well, I think so, anyway.
Or, alternately, I could just go to a crappy bar and do karaoke there. But, that means potentially more embarassment, possibly a cover charge, and definitely too many drunk college boys that call each other "brah." ;p
Well, I'll get back to my knitting now. Go fill out the anonymous comment thing, if you're bored.
