So, today has been relaxing, for the most part. I downloaded FLCL on Kazaa last night and today, and I'm eager to watch it. Thank god there are only seven episodes, because my second hard drive is already bursting just from the 62 Naruto episodes. Fortunately, FuriKuri is a short enough series that it might be worth burning them to CD.

Today, I finished my supplemental questions--my answers aren't that long, but I think they get the point across. I also joined [livejournal.com profile] aleisha's Firefly gathering for the hour before the Survivor finale. God, I love Firefly; it's such a fantastic show, and I still can't believe it was axed so quickly. Stupid Fox! :pppp I love me some Captain Tightpants. I *must* have the DVD set!

And now, as [livejournal.com profile] starkodama might say, SURVIVOR BABBLING TAIMU! I'm so happy with the outcome! Sandra played it well, and managed to pull through even as her alliance got demolished. I don't think there could have been a better winner out of the final four! Jon was too scummy, Lillian was outcast, and Darrah just bored me to tears.

Everyone gave Lillian way too much crap for the whole "scout uniform = honesty" thing, though, and I don't really get why the viewing audience disliked her so much near the end. I guess I'm hard to annoy? ::shrug:: I was freaking out at the thought that she might take Jon with her, though, because I thought for sure he'd win it if she did. Of course, then Probst proved that wrong with his hypothetical at the reunion show. ^^; Whatever, I'm just glad that stupid Jon didn't win and everyone hates him now. ::rotfl::

I still like Rupert--he made for *good* TV. I *still* can't believe he found that frickin' spear head! I kind of wish that Ryan S had been around longer, because he seems like a big geek and a stand-up guy. (his audition video first brought me to that conclusion) He would have certainly been more fun than that big wuss-boy Osten, but at least Osten is okay with his decision. Eh.

I had a rather bizarre dream last night, where I was trying to bust [livejournal.com profile] simurgh out of this creepy hospital, because they wouldn't let him leave, even though he was perfectly healthy. It was all Resident Evil-looking and such, and the dream was set up sort of like Groundhog Day, where I had to repeat the escape over and over until I got it right, and each time I would have to remember a different detail, like stealing and wearing a doctor's coat in order to look all official, or hiding around a certain corner so I wouldn't be spotted. Whenever we got caught, it'd just start me over outside the hospital again. Weird.

To do tomorrow: Turn in app for the Uni job, go to bank, wushu solo practice.

Stupid quiz taimu!!

cyberculture floozie
You are a Cyberculture Floozie. The theoretical
aspects of postmodernism interest you only
insofar as they can be used to make cool blinky
things. You probably take psychedelics and
know at least one programming language (HTML
counts!). Other postmodernists call you a
corporate whore. They're probably just jealous
because you make more money than them.

What kind of postmodernist are you!?

And now, I'm going to try and write this script that I've been putting off. I might do it in PHP instead of Perl, but we'll see.

At least you tried, repeatedly, to help me escape!
Were we ever successful?

Yeah, eventually we got away and went out for ice cream or something, and I woke up. ::asdfhdlsfhaklsdsk:: Now that I think about it, it was kind of like a save point before a really annoying/difficult part in a video game, with the sheer repetition of it all. Gah.

No more snacks before bedtime! ;ppp

I know, my roommate freaked out about Lillian too much. I was like, "OMG, shut up. She's messed up, is all, there's nothing to bitch about." Ah well.

Yeah, when are you generally in your own room? I've been keeping weird hours, but I'll get it worked out. :)
