Should I be concerned that it's getting really, really hard for me to watch an episode of TNG without making at least one snide remark about Riker? ::rotfl::

Well, today's exam could have gone better, but it didn't go too terribly, I suspect. I had dates and periods down pat for most of them, and I have a good midterm grade to fall back on, too. I went to The Break afterwards to play some DDR, and I did pretty well on that, too. It seemed like the 8-foot songs were coming more easily to me than usual. Whee! Now, I'm just killing the next 40 minutes before work by scanning some of my photography for my portfolio.

I also took back the HP print cartridge and got Epson cartridges for my printer, only to find later on that the driver was corrupted, and I'm not actually out of yellow ink. Bugger. ;p But I did have the silly joy of watching my odometer hit 2000 miles on the way back! I went around the block one extra time, to make sure I didn't miss it. :D

Tomorrow, I have my nihongo final, which I haven't really studied for yet. I know the grammar well enough that I don't need to spend a lot of time on anything aside from the kanji, though, so it's all good. This always seems to be the story in Japanese, ever since first year--everything else comes fine, but the kanji never sticks without some extra effort. Plus, my head *really* hurts right now.

I have a hair appointment in the mid-afternoon tomorrow, as well. I'm planning on going back to (gasp) my natural color! I'll have some highlights in red or burgundy, of course, but my natural color will likely be the base color. I haven't had that in probably 2 or 3 years. I'll also grab tickets to Rufus Wainwright before or after that, depending on when I wake up.

I think that's all for now. Poof!

I go to Megan at Phenomenon, but this will only be the second time I've gone to her. I like what she's done so far, though--this is the first time I've been in the in-between phase (between short and long hair) and actually felt like my hair still looked decent. :)

I've heard good things about David, too, though, so you'll probably get good service too.

"Poof!" as in, "I'm disappearing now!"

8-footers are my faves, except Saints which is 9. :P
they're pretty much all i play now, mostly A and Healing Vision (but i still can't always get that quick 'tu-tuh tu-tuh tu-tuh-tuh-tuh-tuh-tuh' right at the beginning sometimes. i can FC them regularly, AA them on occasion, and probably SDG them if i played long enough in a day. i usually pick Saints or songs i haven't done as a third track though, just for fun... and i do get some new songs in when playing with other people but too often i gotta either bar rape or just stop playing because i can't get the steps right (quarters and faster, excessive gallops, or anything off the beat kill me. i still have Rhythm & Police).

i shoulda gone to GameWorks tonight...

I was pulling As and Bs on them today, which was pretty good considering that I pull Bs or Cs normally, and I was also wearing my heavy work boots. (vs. my much lighter sneakers)

I have yet to do a 9-footer, though... I think partly because I'm too chicken to try it in a public venue. ::laughs:: But I don't think I'm quite to that level yet anyway.

catastrophics generally take a while to get used to... and they're very much not equal (some are easy, some are insane IMO). i like Saints but that's because i love running patterns. it only has one gallop series about 1/3-1/2 way into it. there's a little bit of air a couple times through. it's a fun li'l workout.

Cute photo today. =)

And snide remarks about Riker? But he's so hot!

You should try the "Data Drinking Game". My friend Peter and I made it up one day when watching Old Skool TNG (first season shiznit). Take a drink every time Data says a cheesey line or raises his eyebrows and looks puzzled. And yes, I know you'd pass out before an episode was over. Use mixers!
