So, I survived the presentation, and it was all okay. In my haste, I think I kind of halfway missed the point, because I talked about Mariko Mori, who doesn't really do much in the way of programming for her art, but nobody complained. Asking me to talk in front of people at 8am is already too much! ;p
Anyway, I took a real personal interest in Mori's emphasis on fashion and cosplay, because I, too, dream of making pretty cyberpunk clothing and prancing around Tokyo while wearing it. Yeah, sometimes cosplayers get really scary and/or pathetic, but cosplay itself is *fun*. So there. ::asldkfhasdlkfhasdkl::
I have a few hours to work on Nano, which will hopefully go better today, because my next couple chapters are non-awkward ones. Oh, and I must think about that blasted Japanese oral, where I think we have to simulate a phone conversation. And have I mentioned that ARGH I HATE THE PHONE DIE DIE DIE? Because I do. When you toss in the wacky politeness levels that they use in Japan (yes, keego is *evil*), and the fact that I'm supposed to be talking on the phone in a second language, and it's paaaain.
Mark my words, if I ever live in Japan, I'm never calling anybody. Keitai obsession be damned! ;p I'll just get one of those camera phones and send people phone conversations in mime. ::rotfl::
I have work tonight, which should be slow, so if I nab dispatch, there will be much Nano-ing. I also need to catch up on some reading for class before that, since I didn't go to class yesterday. Blaaaahhh. (on the up side, I think I've staved off the illness, so yay!) It should be a pretty lesiurely evening.
IT'S OVER!!!
