Good thing I decided to change nihongo to Pass/No Pass, because I totally biffed it on that exam. ::sigh:: I knew a lot of the material, too, but it just wasn't coming to the front of my brain, *especially* after missing 3 out of 5 of last week's sessions. Thank you very much, Mr. Crap-ass Respiratory Ailment. ;p It's amazing how quickly language knowledge can fade, and this past summer was certainly proof of that. So yeah, I'm resolving to study harder, because I still want to learn this stuff, but at least this way I'm guaranteed to preserve the sanctity of my GPA. ;p
On the good side of things, I finally picked up my kanji dictionary today! <3 It's the Kodansha Essential Kanji Dictionary, which is supposed to be a good one. And it doesn't have a stupid check-out pocket glued in the middle of the kanji index! That's all I need, baby.
So, buh. I made it to the tail end of the JSO meeting, and I've seen my magical flyer in all its glory. Wheee! I love it more now that it's printed on colored paper instead of boring white. I'm also feeling less angsty towards the print medium in general, now that my printer is more reliable.
Anyhoo, I should probably toddle off to wushu, and prepare for much soreness after missing an entire *week*. Aaaaahhhh! ::poof::
