So, I just applied for that job I was yapping about previously, and gads, these people seem like fun. The materials that they recommended their applicants look over included this wacky groundhog Flash movie. They also said they were looking for applicants with a "sense of humor," which I like. It'd be nice to work at a place where I'd actually feel okay about dorking out over silly things every so often. :D
I have to wonder if I didn't sound horribly formal or stuffy in my cover letter. Blaaahhhh. I lightened it up a little bit, but I didn't want to be *too* casual because, sometimes, that can be the kiss of death. Let's hope I get a call or an e-mail soon, yeh?
Anyhoo, I had a fun afternoon of dragging James around looking for dressy clothes that were less stuffy and binding, but still swank and fashionable. I don't know why, but dressing other people is just *fun*. And oh my sweet screaming Jesus, I had to fight *hard* not to buy one of the slim-fitting leather coats they had at JC Penney. The entire *store* was on sale, so they were 50% off! But when the 50% off price is still $100, that's, uh, still too much. ^^; We watched a couple hours' worth of Coupling next door after we got home, and now I'm just farting around on the computer, when I should be studying nihongo.
GOD. I don't want an exam tomorrow, you bastards! I didn't really start feeling okay health-wise until right before work last night, so I haven't really had it in me to study. I guess I'll be a good sport and practice some kanji now. ;p
P.S. I *heart* my new animated Neko-bus icon. Ph33r! :O
