junsiew and I went to the store to buy some components, and then made food! I made some oyako don, and she took charge with some fabulous sushi rolls, and smoothies for dessert. dynee and gmendel stopped in for a bit, too, and junsiew and dynee got to wax poetic about being an RA in Douglass. (they are current and former RA of the hall, respectively) Douglass was such an interesting phenomenon. :)
Work was pretty uneventful yesterday. I met the two new hires of the week, and they're a couple of nice guys. They seemed like bigtime party guys, though--in other words, cool enough in small doses, but not really the type I gel with to any significant degree. Pardon me for having a giant soft-spot for nerds, geeks, and dorks. ;p
Anyway, I woke up today, and felt like a metric ton of ass. I don't like this cold already--it's not bad enough to warrant skipping out on classes or work or anything, but it makes everything less fun to do. I slept for 11 hours last night! That's *way* more than I need on a normal day. :p
I have things that need doing, now, so I'm off.
