In the bedroom
Sep. 11th, 2003 03:11 pmBecause I feel like it, here are pictures of my 5-minute re-do of my west bedroom wall! The lighting in here is kind of crap, but I think I was able to compensate via some quick Photoshop filters. The originals were pretty yellowish:
The southwest corner, featuring the new faux-curtains, one of the new homemade tag boards, my paper lantern, and the J poster from the SHOXX I bought from Alyson:

The northwest corner: more faux-curtains, the other homemade tag board, and the top corner of my desk hutch.

The entire west wall. The fan in the window won't be there, come winter. You can see a bit of the original, grungy, off-white curtains at the bottom, there. I'm thinking about attatching some kind of fringe to the bottom of the blue pin-overs to cover it up.

The southwest corner again, with the paper lantern lit up! So pretty! <3

Yeah, so it's not as cool as
kristine's new room, but given the fact that I'm not allowed to paint the walls in here, it's certainly an improvement! Anything, and I mean *anything*, is better than white on white on white. I'm thinking that I want to cruise St.VdeP, Goodwill, etc. soon, and see if there's any cheap furniture that I can restore and re-finish in pretty colours.
Also: taking photos of one part of the room, while trying *not* to capture the messiness of the rest of the room, is no easy task. ::rotfl::
