I have this talent for double-booking myself socially, it seems. At first, I said I'd go out with some DDSers for Dan's post-grad bar-hop this Saturday, but then I remembered later that
tailixiong's birthday stupf is going on that day. And I thought I was saved when Reen said last night that going out drinking with Dan would probably happen on Friday instead of Saturday, but I was reminded a couple hours ago that a little bash in
numfar's honour is supposed to be happening at that same time. Not a lot had been said directly to me about that, so it was easy for me to lose track of it, but still. Grah. Emotionally, I feel more inclined to accomodate my closer friends than my work buddies, but my work buddies are doing something that I don't get to do very often.
I should really use my Palm to keep track of *everything*, and not just school/work tasks. Jeezy.
For some reason, I caught myself looking up graduate school programs in Computer Science earlier, which makes absolutely no sense for a person to do when she is completely burned out on being a poor student who's struggling to live on part-time student wages. I must be crazy. Or perhaps I'm just wishing that I had tried harder when I was a CS major. I totally have the brain for it, but I didn't have the motivation. Things I perceived then as monumental problems now seem really fucking trivial from my current perspective.
Anyway! I'm going to apply at Shiki tomorrow, because they're actively looking for wait staff! They work to accomodate student schedules, too, which will be nice for my last term at Uni. And they don't expect some ungodly amount of waitressing experience, either. :p
This makes me feel like I should brush up on my Japanese, though. Oy.
But first, I should probably go to sleep. ;p

P.S. Submitted for the approval of my compatriots who are going up for Eddie Izzard: I think we also need to make a pit stop at Krispy Kreme while we're in Portland. YES. :D
