batskeetsI got sent home from Ye Olde Vomit Comet tonight, because nobody else on staff was answering their phone, so we couldn't run. Not a big deal for the callers, since there aren't many on a Sunday night, but I'm grousing at the loss of 4 hours of work.
So, I sat here and freelanced, instead. And then I worked on my stack of applications some more.
Trader Joe's is weird. Their application was by far the thickest of the lot, and the guy I spoke with when I picked it up said that I should attach a resume. That would be because the app asks for the last TEN YEARS of your work history. I don't even *have* ten years of work history! Now I have to re-add my retail experience to my fscking resume, and I don't even think I have that information anymore, because I haven't needed it in at least a couple years. Gaaaaaahhhh. I guess I'll have to go through the dark recesses of my brain, or my floppy disk box, and find something to work with.
Tomorrow, I go to do another paid psych experiment. Depending on when I get up and when I get done with the experiment, I may go talk to Skip about the paid work for ONHW that they're hoping to offer me. Then, I drop off most of my applications, and accumulate some more. And probably do more freelancing, since I have a deadline coming up.
I really shouldn't have taken the project from MiniInternship. It's really hard to make yourself work on an unpaid project when you have 3 other projects to work on that you're actually getting paid for. Unfortunately, it's a little late to back out *now*, and I've already spent a lot of time on it, so I'd better get on it. :p
And, I'm spent.
