batskeetsThe car is broken, *yet* again. Well, I shouldn't say "yet again," because it has been serving our needs pretty consistently for the past several months. James says he can probably fix it, too, so I have hope. ;_;
Still, the fscking thing couldn't have waited for one more lousy month?? I mean REALLY. I was all ready to send it to the great car graveyard in the sky after my parents come up to Eugene with my new ride.
Anyhoo, it has been a lazy afternoon, which is cool with me. I didn't get done with work early last night, so I didn't get to crash as early. I spent most of my down time at the job knitting, wrestling with this berry stitch. I'm not 100% sure of what I'm doing, because the instructions don't make perfect sense to me, but I'll keep trying, because it's pretty.
I will probably be Internshipping like a fiend later tonight--I need to install MySQL on my Gladstone directory, so I can actually show what I've been working on at the next meeting. Consulting got back to me, too, and there's now a guy trying to figure out why my simple PHP files won't work on Gladstone, so hopefully this will all get resolved in time for me to display my awesomeness. W00t!
I want to cook something tonight! But I can't decide on what. If the car were working, I'd run up to Sunrise and nab some sushi components, (I'm low on nori, and out of rice wine vinegar) but I guess I have to work with whatever's close at hand. Hrrrrmmmm...
