Thoughts right now

I just went to the store, and nabbed these new granola bars with fruity yogurt coating, and they are *tasty*. Weee!

I was SO OWNED by the All-Star game! I was napping intermittently through the first bit, because I was tired as hell, but I was pleased with the AL 1-0 lead, only to have my hopes completely smacked down when the NL nabbed 5 runs. But then, the AL pulled it together and WON! Because they 0WNZ J00. Believe it, mo'fos.

Work was easy. Got done early, *yet* again. I am definitely liking this pattern.

Right, I'm off.

I'm up with the White Sox. :) I didn't really have a home team (we moved a lot), so I wound up adopting my daddy's.

The MLB game I've ever seen was a Mariners/White Sox game. I ended up hating the White Sox cause the Mariners lost and Frank Thomas hit the only homerun of the game. It's funny how little things like that can affect you when you're a kid, I still have a pretty firm dislike of the White Sox. But I like them lots better than the Yankees or the Braves.

Yeah, I have the same thing going on with the Pittsburgh Pirates--I was at my first baseball game *EVER* at the age of 5, we drove from Carlsbad to San Diego see the Padres vs. Pirates, and the Padres lost. Granted, the Padres kind of suck by default, but it's pretty rotten to have the home team lose at your first baseball game. ;p

Yeah the Padres are pretty bad, but the Pirates really aren't that much better.

Yeah, if I remember correctly I saw the Mariners back when Griffey was the next best thing and A. Rod was on the team but not very famous yet. Oh and Randy Johnson was pictcher too, but he didn't pitch the game I went to which made me sad despite the fact that that man couldn't try any harder to look like a hick.
