It's Thursday. Yep.
I learned today that my department doesn't have a summer graduation ceremony--there's just the campus-wide one. Which doesn't exactly break my heart, but it does mean that I have to do more running around in order to get this whole business going. So, now I get to go and harass Student Life about it. Oh, the excitement. :p At least I finished my CIT HW this afternoon with no problems--it was blindingly easy. I still have readings I need to catch up on, though, so we're not out of the woods yet.
I've been slowly reading through The Art of Happiness, as of late--a different tack for me, since I don't generally read a lot of non-fiction. It always surprises me when I realize the simplicity of the ideas the Dalai Lama puts for, and yet, they still seem to make a lot of sense. Very cool. :)
I suppose I should plug Gamex VI, now that things are finally starting to come together. I feel compelled to at least make a token show of support to those who are organizing it this year, because after organizing the event myself in previous years, I sure as hell wouldn't want to be in their shoes. ::laughs:: It's Saturday, May 10th, at the EMU, starting at 10:30am and running all day, so be sure to stop by and see what's going on.
Another 20 minutes of work to kill, and then, the evening is mostly free. Unfortunately, I have to go to a meeting for work at 8pm, so I have to tape Survivor. :p I hope they won't keep us there for too long. And then, Japanese homework, but that's not such a big deal.
